Kate Smoak is a thirty-something year-old Canadian author who writes spicy contemporary romance novels. Her love for reading and writing started at a young age. Since she can remember, she’s been dreaming up stories and has always wanted to be an author. When she’s not writing, she’s usually daydreaming up more stories to tell, reading, playing video games, and hanging with her family.

She lives in a small town in Ontario, Canada with her husband and daughter. Kate is an English Literature and Creative Writing major at the University of Windsor, and graduated St. Clair College in 2012 from Converged Journalism.
